The Nursery Class

Applications for Nursery

Parents must apply for a nursery place by filling in a Nursery Application form which is available from the main school office.

Parents can apply for a place for their child as soon as the child has reached their second birthday, all applications will be considered six weeks prior to proposed start date and places will be offered in writing. You will then be contacted nearer the time to arrange a Home Visit before your child starts in Nursery.

Prospective parents are encouraged to visit our website and make an appointment to visit the Nursery to look around.

Universal 15 hours

Our planned admission number is 36 part time places. We have 18 places available in our morning sessions and 18 places available in our afternoon sessions. Children attend either 5 morning sessions or 5 afternoon sessions, we do not offer the facility to buy additional sessions or have a mix of morning and afternoon sessions. Parents can indicate a preference as to which session their child attends on the admission form and we will try our best to accommodate this, however this is not always possible, in which case the alternative session will be offered. If the number of children applying for entry exceeds the places available, we enforce the procedure set out in the policy below in order to determine whether a child is accepted or not.
